Since none of us are going to Galleries or musueums, I thought I would do a cheeky little virtual tour of one of the exhibits I went to before all of this. Picasso and Paper.
I wondered into the Royal Academy of Arts, and I think it might have been the first time I had been in there and it was beautiful. In 2020 I wanted to push myself to go and learn something new, and that something new was history and the history of art. I felt that in all my years in school I was only taught a small selection of history and art, and there is so much more to learn and see. So I have made an effort to go and wonder into a bunch of exhibitions and before I go to learn more about the artist before I go and obviously learn more when I visit the exhibition.
I never really realised that Picasso had such a fascinating with paper and working with different types of paper – because I have ever only seen the very typically Picasso -esque art so this was completely new to me. There were also the very typical Picasso style paintings too but here is a little peek into the exhibition.
