Books & Cosy Vibes.

Currently in the UK we have had a visit from Dennis and Ciara it has almost forced us all to unwind and stay in doors without having to go out constantly be on the hunt for the next thing to do. That can only mean one thing is the case of Chiara and Chloe, books, cosy layers, pasta and more knits.

We are still in the midst of Winter (Spring where are you?) so that can only mean cosy vibes. I know wearing knits are a necessity but gosh it is getting boring! So, a cheeky little co-ord is the way to go. It just makes things look a little bit more interesting and there are endless styling options. But it is essentially wearing your blanket out and about. Score! Plus you have 2 items of clothing that you can wear separately and get more out of it. I have found some of favourites and I have shared them below.

Knitted Co-Ords:

I have been a little bit of a hermit and been reading like a a crazed bunny in a carrot farm. These are some books I highly recommend you trying. It is a real mix of humour, history of art, some deep and meaningful writing and some feminist literature. Roxanne Gays books are amazing articles in 1 and she is such an inspiring woman, I highly recommend the read!

Book recommendations:

  • If Cats Disappeared From The World by Genki Kawamura
  • Representing Women  by Linda Nochlin
  • Calypso by David Sedaris
  • The Unbearable Lightness of Being by Michael Henry Heim
  • Not that bad by Roxanne Gay
