It is time for the winter edition of a re-boot. It is definitely time for some boots, and I am a huge fan of the heeled ankle boot because I am vertically challenged and I enjoy having a little bit of a boost! I have got a fabulous edit of boots plus 3 top tips for styling this style of boots.
For my short frame I always find heeled ankle boots are the most flattering, I do love a good flat but when I need that boost thats when I turn to my heeled companion. I am currently loving the boot that is a little taller than your normal ankle boot. For most people a heeled ankle boot is a staple through the winter one because lets face it, we get lazy with our pedicures and our toes go into hibernation till next year summer! For me this style of boot is for day time running around, as long as they are comfortable. Plus this style of boot is the best evening shoe, plus you can stay nice and warm through those cold evenings. Am I right?
Here are 3 tips on styling this style of boot if you are a petite girl:
- if you are a short girl make sure that the skirt you are wearing is not too long. Make sure there is a bit of leg room to help the boots elongate your legs instead of turning them into tree stumps.
- I enjoy a tonal dressing moment, also known as an all black look in the winter. The best way to wear an all black outfit including the boots to make sure that there are different textures. Like in this outfit, a little lace slip with a knit and of course some leather.
- If you want to wear the boots, just wear them girl and you will look fabulous!
