For The Girl That Does Not Want To Dress Up

Sometimes you do not want to stand out like a Christmas bauble when you head out. Here are some of my go to party outfits when I want to be more causal and not so in your face…

Here are my two go to outfits when I am not in the mood to dress up.

During the party season you might not want to be dressed up like a bauble or you are just tired of getting too dolled up. These two outfits are my fail safe party looks at anytime of year.

The first one is a pair of flared jeans and tie up blouse, well a pussy bow top. I love a floaty blouse, there is something very dresses up about a pretty blouse, and I love to pair them up with a pair of flared jeans to make the look a little bit more casual. But to add the little bit of party sparkle I wear my favourite Astrid & Miyu Ear cuffs and stack them up to create my own little personalised stack of sparkle. Plus they look like a new piercing without the pain – what a bonus!

A slip dress is a simple outfit but it is a great fail safe outfit during any time of year. It is slinky and kind of sexy and it looks like you made an effort to get dressed. Obviously at this time of year you would need to throw on a knit so that you do not freeze to death! But you can style a slip dress is several ways, you could throw a tee under it, throw a jumper over it or even wear a blazer. See I told you it was a versatile.

To make it extra party ready I would pile on my favourites from Monica Vinader for that extra sparkle.
