It is the end of November and that can only mean one thing, the quest to get all your party dresses for the festive season has commenced. Here is a favourite brand that I have discovered which you need to try. Yes, NEED!
Long live the days of me being skinny with no boobs and wearing teeny weeny skin tight dresses. Now that I am let’s say womanly I need s dress that flatters my woman parts, a.k.a boobs and bum. Enter Rixo London, this is a brand that has been everywhere this year and I can see why. What I love about this brand is their fun prints which are vintage inspired and the glorious shapes of all the dresses. They have dresses like this one with a plunging neckline and then they have wrap dresses (we all know how I feel about a wrap dress) and a good old maxi. They have a dress for every occasion. Now I am not much for colour when it comes to party outfits, but the prints from Rixo are so beautifully done and elegant, and they make me feel like a lady and not in an old and frumpy way.
If you are not much of a sparkle lover (why? how? omg? – I will forgive you and we can still be friends) or the occasion calls for something demure and sans sequins, then these dresses are perfect for those occasions. They are classy and elegant and made so beautifully.
Yes this dress is very low cut, but it is secure and it is comfortable without the requirement of tit-tape. Two slits on the skirt make this midi length dress much more flattering especially on my tiny body! It is a lovely light fabric too which gives the dress some gorgeous movement too. Making this dress the best kind of dress to swish around in!
Here are my picks from Rixo:
If you are not in the mood to wear a dress for an evening out, because lets face facts it is freezing outside! You can when your favourite pair of jeans and boots with their gorgeous tops. I particularly love the wrap top and that might have slipped into my basket and got delivered to me as I write this! Once again these prints are just so gorgeous and their is a colour for everyone. The shape of them are so so flattering and the wrap one can we worn like a kimono over a top or a knit.
